FINE ART

Where concepts of abstract minimalism and surrealism converge, my work seeks to clarify the presence of hope while exposing the necessity of our shadows and the beauty of chaos.

Upcoming Events

Postcard for an art exhibition titled 'Between Doorways: Downtown Buffalo,' featuring works by local artists from the Buffalo History Museum, held from March 25 to April 17, 2020, at the Brisbane Building, 403 Main Street, Buffalo, NY, with gallery hours and a reception on March 25, 2020.

“Rise” was invited to participate in the inaugural exhibit at Beebe’s on the Square! I painted “Rise” to be a promise that no matter what challenges we face, we have a future. For this exhibition, it’s a reminder that downtown Buffalo has hope.

The ancient Egyptian scarab symbolizes transformation and a new day, and the body that I painted represents community. Each block of color shows how our city is interconnected. The cut-out spaces are the transitional points of hidden potential like those of yin and yang. The wings represent our struggles except they are the very instrument that will propel us forward. And I chose blue for the horizon because this isn’t the beginning - we’re well on our way to revival.

I’m thrilled to announce my very first solo exhibition has been booked at Surge in Kenmore! “If You Only Knew” focuses on the energy of emotion and how this affects the human soul.

I invite you to experience these canvases as they share their stories around things that were left unsaid. And I hope you share in their victories and tragedies and each facet in between.
